Our Mission

“Inspiring theatre to help those in need”

The Directors of Lawyers on Stage Theatre Society (LOST) are a group of legal and theatre professionals collaborating to achieve six goals:

  1. To produce engaging, high quality, relevant theatre with lawyers and other members of the legal community taking to the stage for philanthropic purposes;
  2. To foster creative and professional synergies between law, theatre, and the arts;
  3. To give opportunities to showcase the generous and giving side of the legal profession, with a view to strengthening our community ties by raising resources for those in need;
  4. To educate and raise awareness and understanding about lawyers, the rule of law, and justice through plays and other artistic endeavours;
  5. To support legal and drama education at the University of Victoria, particularly at the  intersections or law and theatre; and
  6. To provide members of the legal community with an opportunity to express their creative selves for professional and personal growth.

If you would like to get involved with LOST, do not hesitate to contact us at info@lawyersonstage.com.
