Lawyers on Stage Theatre Society (LOST) presented its annual fundraiser at Langham Court Theatre on December 11 – 14, 2025.
The 2025 production was William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale, directed by Stuart wright. In this drama, Shakespeare delves into themes such as justice, truth, evidence, and credibility through a mix of trials and legal proceedings, both formal and informal. King Leontes, consumed by jealousy, wrongfully accuses his pregnant wife of infidelity, triggering a chain of tragic events that not only destroy his wife and son, but also leads to his baby daughter being abandoned on a remote island. Realizing his mistakes, Leontes dedicates himself to making amends and, sixteen years later, he is presented with an unexpected opportunity for redemption. A surprise twist in the final Act brings with it the opportunity for hope and healing.
