2025 PRODUCTION

LOST Audition Notice
The Winter’s Tale by William Shakespeare
Directed by Stuart Wright
Produced by Sara Ramshaw
Lawyers on Stage Theatre Society (LOST)is planning to present its annual Fundraiser at Langham Court Theatre on December 11 – 14, 2025.
This year’s production is William Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale. In this play, Shakespeare explores themes of justice, truth, evidence, and belief through various trials and legal proceedings, both formal and informal. Blinded by jealousy, King Leontes falsely accuses his pregnant wife of infidelity, setting into motion a series of catastrophes that will destroy his wife and son and leave his infant daughter abandoned to the elements on a distant island. Seeing the folly of his ways, Leontes vows to live out his days atoning for his actions. Sixteen years later, the king is offered an unlikely chance at redemption.
The full script is available open access here (Folger’s version).
If you would like to be part of this creative endeavour, the proceeds from which go to those in need in our community (this year’s charities TBC), please consider auditioning for this production. We require actors from the legal community who can portray a broad array of engaging and complex characters. All roles are important. Some roles are movement only. Dancers and singers may also be required.
If you are interested in auditioning, please contact info@lawyersonstage.com before Sunday June 8, 2025.
